The Root Cause of Trouble Amongst Believers

The Root Cause of Trouble Amongst Believers

Taken from Chapter 1 of The Church of theFirstborn
by T. Austin-Sparks

….We talk about our motives, and we say, Our motive was right! We talk about our conscientiousness, we talk about our intentions; but you and I do not know what lies behind what we call our good motives. There is a deceitfulness about this human heart that defies our greatest attempt at tracking it down, and we shall never do it. It takes Him that hath the seven Spirits of God, with the seven eyes, the perfect insight, to see through you and through me. We shall never see through ourselves, and you and I can never talk with any certainty about our good motives, our pure motives, our conscientiousness, because of this tangle of the old creation. This soul life of ours is such an awful mixture that you never, never know when you are on safe ground with it. It will lead you into all kinds of deceptions as to yourself, and as to others, and if you begin to live in your soul life, and assert it and develop it, you are developing what is capable of leading you into the greatest confusion and contradiction and mixture. There is an alliance with this fallen creation of forces that are not the forces of God, and you and I cannot break in between the two and sort the matter out. God Himself has not undertaken to do that. God Himself has not undertaken to disentangle this network of confusion in this old creation. God is not going to get to work like a great surgeon and drive in between this part and that part, and separate the good from the bad. He is not going to excavate and analyze and rearrange this whole tangled mass; He has not undertaken to do it. God’s whole attitude is (and this is the revelation of God’s Word) that that tangled mass is finished with, dead and buried, and God brings in something that is altogether other than that: a new creation, even Jesus Christ. There is no tangle in Him, no confusion in Him, no mixture in Him; there is perfection of harmony, a balance of order, of arrangement. All the rest is put out.

Here is where the church has become such a confused thing, and such a tragedy; for the prevailing idea is that if you give yourself over to God He will take you up and use you: "Bring over your humanity and consecrate it to the Lord! Consecrate your old man to the Lord, and go out and serve the Lord, with a consecrated old man!" it is utterly contrary to the teaching of God’s Word. The result is that in the work of God all the world over you have people serving the Lord in the energy of the flesh, in the reasoning of the flesh, in the emotions of the flesh. Meet them, counter them, frustrate them, and you meet something evil; you meet with a fight, a division, a schism, a scattering, and wholesale resignations.

Do you see what a havoc the enemy can make in that which is called the church, because people with best intentions, purest motives have come to serve the Lord with all their own intelligence, their own strength, and their own emotion? They have not seen that God has closed the door to the old creation, and that God’s attitude is this: "The only thing that can satisfy Me, that can serve Me is My Son, and if you are going to come into My service, He has to be the energy of everything, the Life of everything, the Wisdom of everything!" He has to be the governing, ruling reality in everything. It is not to be a matter of your impulses, but of His urgings and leadings by the Holy Spirit; not your sitting down to reason out what it would be good to do for the Lord, what ought to be done, what needs to be done, but what He shows you, nothing more. It is Christ who is God’s thought, and only Christ, and He is “altogether Other”.

He lived on that principle Himself, when He was here. Great appeals were made to His sympathies, but He never responded to those appeals until He had weighed the thing up before the Father and obtained the Father’s mind about it. Appeals were made to His reason, that He ought to do certain things: He ought to go up to the feast, it was the recognized thing, everybody was going up. If He was not going up He was laying Himself open to misunderstanding and misrepresentation! “Mine hour is not yet”, He said. And when they had gone up then He went up secretly. He was not playing a trick, acting a deception; He was making sure that the voice governing His movements was not the voice of popular habit, but was the voice of the Father governing Him. See how other Christ is from men, from what we are.

You and I must not bring over our old creation and give it to God, expecting God to use it. God begins with birth. The church of the firstborn is something quite new, and it comes out of a death. That death is the death of an old creation, and the resurrection is of something that is not the resuscitation of an old creation, but the resurrection of something wholly of God….

The Way of Deliverance

…. Our greatest need is to be delivered from ourselves into Christ. There we find all God’s intentions and activities concerning His Son. It is “Christ in you, the hope of glory”, that is the great secret, and there is no hope of glory anywhere else.

What does this mean? Not that I come before God saying, “I have had pure motives; I have been very honest, earnest and conscientious, and my intentions have all been of the best.” Let us stop talking nonsense. It is utter folly to talk like that. We do not know ourselves. Only God knows the truth about us, and none of that finds a place with Him or counts with Him for a moment. The point is, have I recognised that the Cross of the Lord Jesus was the smashing and ending of me, good and bad, so that I am not holding up before the Lord anything? I am as capable of the worst as any being in God’s creation is. For anybody to take the attitude that they are not capable of the worst is an attitude of the deepest deception. We do not know the power in our beings until we are put to it. If we have never committed the worst, it is because we have never been put to it in the mercy of God, but it is all there. The Lord puts His finger upon it in principle when He says, “He that hates his brother is a murderer.” It is the same spirit. You have only to extend that, provoke that anger enough, put that nature into certain circumstances, and you will discover that you are capable of things of which you would have stood in utmost horror at one time. You and I have got to come down before God and admit that we are capable of the worst, not standing on the ground of our right. The only right one is Christ from God’s standpoint. The only safe one is Christ, and therefore the only one who stands in God’s eyes is Christ, and it is as you and I, in all the brokenness, frailty, conscious weakness and humility of our own beings, by faith cling to Christ that we shall find the way out, the deliverance, the salvation. We must look behind God’s words to see bigger things than words on the surface indicate. “To this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and that trembles at My word.” That statement embodies all that we are saying.

To what one will He look? To the one who never says, "I am right!" but to the one who says, "I may be as wrong as ever man or woman was wrong, there is nothing of which I am not capable; my only ground is Christ; so help me God, Christ is my ground!" To stand on Christ is to stand always in the consciousness and recognition that this other ground, ourselves at any point, is dangerous ground. He is so Other, and there is the great divide, there is no overlapping. Between Christ and us there is a gaping chasm. God never sees that bridged, but thank God He will put Christ into us by the Holy Spirit, and while the two will ever remain apart, the old creation will go one day and that which is of Christ, as wrought into us, will abide….

The Pure Word

WHAT IS THE PURE WORD?

The Pure Word is The LIFE;
the only real LIFE there is; LIFE that is eternal.
The Pure Word is the ALPHA and OMEGA;
the Beginning and the End of All Things.
The Pure Word is SPIRIT, for God is a Spirit.
The Pure Word came to earth and was manifested for all to see
in the life of Jesus Christ, the first begotten Son of God;
the firstborn among many brethren.

Because we are still in these Adamic bodies, everything we receive is filtered through our mind.  Sometimes it is necessary to cover what something is Not in order to dispel our misconceptions… that we might comprehend what it is.

The ‘Pure Word’ is not doctrine.  It is not interpretation.  It is not theology.  It is not works.  It cannot be studied and analyzed… it must be partaken of, spirit to spirit.
“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God” John 1:1.

“And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth” John 1:14.

“That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit” John 3:6.

“It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life” John 6:63.

“Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you” John 6:53.

In many groups today we hear much talk about entering into the life in the spirit.  This is not a new thing reserved for believers in these last days, it has always been so through the ages.  Religion however, will keep us ever seeking yet never attaining that LIFE we are searching for.  We are waylaid on the path by all of the obstacles Religion has at her disposal; doctrines, knowledge, spiritual manifestations, forms and traditions, all of which feed the flesh.

Jesus never once told us to become religious.  The Scribes and Pharisees were religious.  They had all of the pure word of God given to the people of Israel by God up to the time when Jesus came; yet they rejected, hated and crucified the Christ, the anointed one sent by God the Father.  Jesus Christ, HE WHO IS THE WORD, GOD (His nature; character), in the flesh.  They were greatly offended by His Words.   The people were greatly offended when He said, “Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you.”  They could not comprehend such a statement except by their carnal understanding.

We need to disassociate from our carnal thinking.   Carnal thinking conjures up images of something akin to cannibalism.  How can we possibly eat his flesh and drink his blood?  The very thought is disgusting to our flesh (our sensibilities).  We can only comprehend this, and all scripture, as the Spirit of God gives us understanding.  Our minds must be renewed…“And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God” Romans 12:2.

We err greatly when we see the PURE WORD as being anything other than the LIFE of GOD manifested.  Jesus said, if we do not partake of; if we fail to eat his flesh and drink his blood, we have no life in us.  That is a sobering thought.  Just as the natural body requires meat and drink to sustain itself; so our spiritual life within us requires sustenance to grow to full stature.  To eat his flesh and drink his blood, is to partake of his nature, to be conformed to His Image, to ‘be as HE IS in this world.’

“But the (spiritual) wisdom that is from above (from the first) is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy” James 3:17.  The pure word is not our head knowledge of scripture.  Little do we comprehend that our words and our actions manifest (clearly show, make evident) the spiritual wisdom we are actually in possession of.  How do we judge and treat others?  How honest are we?

[Quote]… “Words mean things. If we are seeking to understand the concepts of Truth given to us in scripture, we must approach them from the standpoint of mental honesty…. It does not mean to remain ignorant of the Truth simply because it might conflict with what we have come to believe. Challenging ourselves to revisit why we believe what we do and where that belief comes from is the Way to Life (John 3:19-21). To simply say, "I believe" without a coherent understanding of what scripture says to believe and how to believe it, is to remain in ignorance of the Word of YHVH. That ignorance results in our destruction because it causes us to be separated from the Source of Life. The only thing Yeshua ever spoke of as being able to render the Word of YHVH ineffective was the tradition of men…[from Harold Smith in ‘The Word’; (found in the sidebar)].

It cannot be stressed enough – the pure word IS God – not our ideas about God.  The Pure Word is a Person – Jesus Christ – HE is The Way, The Truth and The Life.  All else is counterfeit; a false representation.

“Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment” 1 Corinthians 1:10.

“Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus” Php 2:5.

“Who is there among you who is wise and intelligent? Then let him by his noble living show forth his [good] works with the [unobtrusive] humility [which is the proper attribute] of true wisdom.  But if you have bitter jealousy (envy) and contention (rivalry, selfish ambition) in your hearts, do not pride yourselves on it and thus be in defiance of and false to the Truth.  This [superficial] wisdom is not such as comes down from above, but is earthly, unspiritual (animal), even devilish (demoniacal).  For wherever there is jealousy (envy) and contention (rivalry and selfish ambition), there will also be confusion (unrest, disharmony, rebellion) and all sorts of evil and vile practices.  But the wisdom from above is first of all pure (undefiled); then it is peace-loving, courteous (considerate, gentle). [It is willing to] yield to reason, full of compassion and good fruits; it is wholehearted and straightforward, impartial and unfeigned (free from doubts, wavering, and insincerity).  And the harvest of righteousness (of conformity to God's will in thought and deed) is [the fruit of the seed] sown in peace by those who work for and make peace [in themselves and in others, that peace which means concord, agreement, and harmony between individuals, with undisturbedness, in a peaceful mind free from fears and agitating passions and moral conflicts]” James 3:13-18 (Amplified).

What do we really believe?  On what grounds do we justify attacking others?  Did Jesus commend Peter for drawing his sword and cutting off the ear of the guard who came to arrest The Christ in the garden?  Then why should we imagine that we are somehow any different than Peter?  How are we pleasing God by our self-appointed defense of what we perceive to be the pure word?  We need to be careful that we do not allow our zeal for the things of God, take us beyond what the Spirit of God is doing, and we end up in our flesh.

Indeed, the time is at hand:
“He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still.  And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be” Rev 22:11-12.

We have a full time job keeping our own feet on the narrow path, without imagining that we have been called to pass judgment on anyone else.  The  following two things give evidence of just how much of the Pure Word is actually abiding within our hearts:
our walk,
and our love for others.

“He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked” 1 John 2:6.

“Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another” 1 John 4:11.

May God have mercy on us all.

Calling Forth - haRold Smith

Calling Forth...

from haRold Smith
Jerusalem, Israel

"I will take the cup of salvation, and call upon the name of the LORD. " Psalm 116:13

"And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD. shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the LORD hath said, and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call." Joel 2:32

"I will offer to You the sacrifice of thanksgiving, and will call upon the name of the LORD.” Psalm 116:17

"For at that time I will change the speech of the people to a pure speech, that all of them may call upon the name of the LORD. and serve him with one accord." Zephaniah 3:9

This testimony was recently shared with me by my good friend and brother here in the Land, Elton Moore. "Sometimes we forget just how intimate our Savior can be. Last week, within my settlement here in Israel I passed by a huge, freshly burned-out, black area of ground about 5 acres in size in the middle of my normal, routine walk that was not there the day before. However I tried, I just could not seem to release a strong pull to draw closer and take a better look. On approaching the dim, dark-burned edge I noticed a small stone pathway leading right through the middle of the dirt. I thought this strange when Lord quickly spoke 'This is your past, all you see before you.'

"Not really wanting to walk through the burned area, I tried to carry on but was sharply pulled back to walk this unknown pathway I had never seen before due to the extensive vegetation growth that was there before the fire. 'Walk the path Elton.' was my next leading and I must say, to my surprise, the track ended up right at the start of my normal route. On turning back about half way through, I noticed I could not see the path I had just walked upon due to the sharp turns and hilly dark mounds. The impact in my spirit was strong as I knew in my heart that without the fire burning within me during my walk over this past 8 months, I simply could not be here today in this place. I also quickly noticed that if I really looked back on those 8 months, I could no longer see the path of my trials or the hurt they sometimes caused me - they had simply gone. So, why am I recounting this story?

"One of the most striking understandings in my spirit during this short trip was the need to call forth Life and Blessing to those things that were revealed within my heart while I ascended from the dark valley back to my home. The need to speak Vision and Life to my new walk and future journey as I came to the end of my short walk was pressed upon me for a real reason - I had forgotten many of God's promises and simply needed to be reminded of His Truth.

"Sometimes we are forced into the dark place of trials and fire only to be purified and made stronger .If you feel you are being tested right now and the burden is heavy upon your spirit let me please say this with all honesty and truth: 'Dear servant of the Living God, you are truly blessed and have chosen the finest wine. Allow the Lord to fashion within you a new wineskin to contain that new wine so that it does not spoil and become bitter.' Sometimes we must face our past and when we do, the Grace of God is always there to deal with the pain. If you only learn to listen to his Voice and call upon His Name, however difficult life may seem at this point in time, He will respond."

(Deu 31:6  Be strong, courageous, and firm; fear not nor be in terror before them, for it is the Lord your God Who goes with you; He will not fail you or forsake you.).

One day, as I was contemplating how are we to be in the face of so much evil in the world and in our own lives, the Father asked me, "Who does this world belong to?" Immediately, the scripture with Yeshua in the wilderness came to mind when satan told Him, "…this world is mine, having been given to me" (Luke 4:5-6 Then the devil took Him up to a high mountain and showed Him all the kingdoms of the habitable world in a moment of time [in the twinkling of an eye].
And he said to Him, To You I will give all this power and authority and their glory (all their magnificence, excellence, preeminence, dignity, and grace), for it has been turned over to me, and I give it to whomever I will). It was deeded over to him by man's relinquishment of it through unbelief in the Goodness of the Father in the Garden of Eden (Genesis 3). The Lord went on to say, "If this world belongs to the evil one, why should it surprise you that evil flourishes in the world?" The events transpiring in the world are but the result of the evil which proliferates out of the hearts of men (Mat 12:35  The good man from his inner good treasure flings forth good things, and the evil man out of his inner evil storehouse flings forth evil things.). He knows the world is consumed with evil as it was in the days of Noah and must be dealt with (Matthew 24:37 As were the days of Noah, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.). Yeshua did not pray for us to be taken out of the world, but that the Father would 'keep' us - not from the evil in the world for we are to be a Light in the midst of darkness, but from the evil 'one' (John 17:15 I do not ask that You will take them out of the world, but that You will keep and protect them from the evil one). To Keep comes from the Greek tereo meaning to cause one to persevere or to stand firm in, to be burned with fire for one's advantage (2Timothy 4:7 I have fought the good (worthy, honorable, and noble) fight, I have finished the race, I have kept (firmly held) the faith;).

It is in the midst of the darkness we see coming at the hand of men that we are admonished to "call upon the Name of the Lord" - not to be removed from the worldly events seemingly spinning out of control around us, but to BE an instrument through which His Essence is loosed into this worldly sphere. To call forth His Name IS to bring the force of His Presence (Light) to bear in this earthly realm. His Presence is Light and Light is a real force (1John 1:5  And this is the message [the message of promise] which we have heard from Him and now are reporting to you: God is Light, and there is no darkness in Him at all [no, not in any way]).  When concentrated, as in a laser beam, it can burn through any substance. When concentrated through our lives by the excellence of the Virtue of His Life (John 1:4 In Him was Life, and the Life was the Light of men), it can move mountains (Matthew 21:21  And Jesus answered them, Truly I say to you, if you have faith (a firm relying trust) and do not doubt, you will not only do what has been done to the fig tree, but even if you say to this mountain, Be taken up and cast into the sea, it will be done.), Matthew 18:18-20 Truly I tell you, whatever you forbid and declare to be improper and unlawful on earth must be what is already forbidden in heaven, and whatever you permit and declare proper and lawful on earth must be what is already permitted in heaven.  Again I tell you, if two of you on earth agree (harmonize together, make a symphony together) about whatever [anything and everything] they may ask, it will come to pass and be done for them by My Father in heaven.  For wherever two or three are gathered (drawn together as My followers) in (into) My name, there I AM in the midst of them.).

But, this is a two-part collaborative effort between the Father and us. We first must hear His Voice and then, secondly, must believe what we hear to be spoken in the Goodness of His Name, believing that He Is Who He says He is while we are standing in the circumstance - or we get nothing (Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please and be satisfactory to Him. For whoever would come near to God must [necessarily] believe that God exists and that He is the rewarder of those who earnestly and diligently seek Him [out]). Yeshua became vulnerable to the circumstances surrounding Him to the extent that if the mountain He was standing under didn't move, it would fall on Him. But, as imminent as that fall seemed, He did not speak to that mountain until He first heard the Father's words, until He became aware of that glow, that illumination within His Spirit to direct His Steps. He believed in the Goodness of the Father to the extent that He said, "If I perish, then I perish - but I will wait on my Lord". He was never disappointed - not even in death. That is the same promise you and I hold.

How do we call forth His Name? It is through the process laid out in the scriptures at the beginning of this article - first by drinking from the cup of salvation, then offering the sacrifice of thanksgiving and, finally, being resolved to bring forth a purity of speech befitting Who He says He Is (John 8:26-29 I have much to say about you and to judge and condemn. But He Who sent Me is true (reliable), and I tell the world [only] the things that I have heard from Him. They did not perceive (know, understand) that He was speaking to them about the Father.  So Jesus added, When you have lifted up the Son of Man [on the cross], you will realize (know, understand) that I am He [for Whom you look] and that I do nothing of Myself (of My own accord or on My own authority), but I say [exactly] what My Father has taught Me.  And He Who sent Me is ever with Me; My Father has not left Me alone, for I always do what pleases Him). This is how we call forth the Name of the Lord. To call forth His Name is to manifest His Glory.

Drink from the Cup of Salvation

Many of us have come to believe salvation is an utterance of formulistic words we make while walking down an aisle or kneeling at an altar. Salvation is not a verbal exercise. Our embrace of salvation produces tangible results - real effects in this earthly existence. To drink or partake from that Cup means to call forth His Presence by our belief in what His Salvation will produce within us.

Salvation in Hebrew is Yeshua and means - 1) salvation, deliverance a) welfare, prosperity (rest) b) deliverance c) salvation (by God) d) victory (used in Isaiah 62:1 as salvation).

Deliverance is primarily used in Hebrew as teshuw'ah which means - 1) salvation, deliverance a) deliverance (usually by God) b) salvation (spiritual in sense). (used in 1Chronicles11:14 as deliverance, 2Chronicles 6:41 and Psalm 37:39 as salvation).

Salvation is also used in the Greek as soteria and means 1) deliverance, preservation, safety, salvation a) deliverance from the molestation of enemies.

We can see from these definitions how that salvation and deliverance are interchangeable - to embrace salvation IS to be delivered. It is by the strength of the salvation Yeshua (being the first among many brethren – (Romans 8:29 For those whom He foreknew [of whom He was aware and loved beforehand], He also destined from the beginning [foreordaining them] to be molded into the image of His Son [and share inwardly His likeness], that He might become the firstborn among many brethren). showed us how to embrace that empowers us to be delivered and to be set free from the "molestation of enemies." This is an active stance in Ruach haKodesh (the Holy Spirit) that we must choose to partake of as a matter of our will in order to exert.

Offer the Sacrifice of Thanksgiving

There is a process outlined in Psalm 100 by which we come into the Presence of the Living Elohim. We must first enter His Gates with thanksgiving, thanking Him in and for the circumstance of our life - in whatever state we might find that life to be in (1Thessalonians 5:18 Thank [God] in everything [no matter what the circumstances may be, be thankful and give thanks], for this is the will of God for you [who are] in Christ Jesus [the Revealer and Mediator of that will]. Ephesians 5:20 At all times and for everything giving thanks in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to God the Father.). As we become thankful, we are then allowed entry to His Court by the praises we offer Him (Psalm 22:3 But You are holy, O You Who dwell in [the holy place where] the praises of Israel [are offered]). This Praise is what He inhabits or abides in. What is praise? In Hebrew it is yadah which means to throw, cast or shoot (as arrows) by lauding or confessing before the assembly (Psalm 111:1 PRAISE THE Lord! (Hallelujah!) I will praise and give thanks to the Lord with my whole heart in the council of the upright and in the congregation). It is in the confession of His Goodness toward us before others that we call upon His Name and His Presence becomes manifest (Psalm 16:11  You will show me the path of life; in Your presence is fullness of joy, at Your right hand there are pleasures forevermore.). Now, to me, a sacrifice indicates something that is required of me to do - something I would not normally want to do otherwise. It is precisely in the doing of that sacrifice that we call forth His Presence.

Pure Speech

Say (to the mountain) is the Greek word eipon meaning speak.
Speak is the Greek word lego meaning affirm over, to call.
Speak in Hebrew is amar and means to bear forth, hence to bring to light; to call into existence. (Genesis 1:3).

As we are positioned IN Him, IN His Essence, we BECOME Light (1John 4:17 In this [union and communion with Him] love is brought to completion and attains perfection with us, that we may have confidence for the day of judgment [with assurance and boldness to face Him], because as He is, so are we in this world).  We BECOME the conduit by which His Presence is then manifest in the world - we manifest His Name the same Way Yeshua showed us by His Living Example (John 17:6 I have manifested Your Name [I have revealed Your very Self, Your real Self] to the people whom You have given Me out of the world. They were Yours, and You gave them to Me, and they have obeyed and kept Your word). As we embrace the Virtue of His Life, incorporating it into our life, we EXIST in Him. It is then, by the living of that Life, that we call into existence His Presence - and all the Power that lies therein. We speak into existence that which is already living within us believing it will be manifest in this earthly realm as He has spoken it. It is by the action of our lives, which creates an environment of faith He can only operate in, that we call forth His Presence.

"For everyone who calls upon the name of the Lord [invoking Him as Lord] will be saved,” Romans 10:13; Acts 2:21 And it shall be that whoever shall call upon the name of the Lord [invoking, adoring, and worshiping the Lord--Christ] shall be saved.

As far back as Genesis 47:25 the Hebrew word for 'saved', chayah, means 1) to live, have life, remain alive, sustain life, live prosperously, live for ever, be quickened, be alive, be restored to life or health 1) to live 2) to revive, be quickened, to be healed. a) from sickness b) from discouragement c) from faintness d) from death.

In the Greek to be 'saved' or 'to save' is sozo and means to save one suffering from disease, to make well, heal, restore to health. (used in John 12:47 as save [If anyone hears My teachings and fails to observe them [does not keep them, but disregards them], it is not I who judges him. For I have not come to judge and to condemn and to pass sentence and to inflict penalty on the world, but to save the world], and Romans 10:9 as saved [Romans 10:9  Because if you acknowledge and confess with your lips that Jesus is Lord and in your heart believe (adhere to, trust in, and rely on the truth) that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved]). This is what it means to be "saved". To, literally, have the Power of YHVH flowing in you that you are healed from disease in your body - today (Hebrews 4:5-7 And [they forfeited their part in it, for] in this [passage] He said, They shall not enter My rest. [Seeing then that the promise remains over [from past times] for some to enter that rest, and that those who formerly were given the good news about it and the opportunity, failed to appropriate it and did not enter because of disobedience, Again He sets a definite day, [a new] Today, [and gives another opportunity of securing that rest] saying through David after so long a time in the words already quoted, Today, if you would hear His voice and when you hear it, do not harden your hearts). Remember, one of the definitions for the Hebrew word for salvation is 'rest'. To obtain eternal life is in a different category (John 17:3 And this is eternal life: [it means] to know (to perceive, recognize, become acquainted with, and understand) You, the only true and real God, and [likewise] to know Him, Jesus [as the] Christ (the Anointed One, the Messiah), Whom You have sent).

We are given assurance by Yeshua that if we drink any thing deadly, it will not harm us (Mark 16:18 They will pick up serpents; and [even] if they drink anything deadly, it will not hurt them; they will lay their hands on the sick, and they will get well.) Shipwrecked on the Isle of Malta, a highly venomous snake attached itself onto the apostle Paul with no effect (Acts 28:1-6) Could this place of Power apply to other 'deadly things' among us - the H1N1 virus for example, also known as the 'swine flu'? You see, the world has but one agenda - to knock us off point. The enemy knows if He can instill even a little fear in our heart, he has succeeded in dissolving that environment of faith so crucial to the calling forth of the Presence of YHVH.

Pentecost

Is it any wonder, that on the day of Pentecost, why 3000 abandoned their lives immediately and were added to the church and a few days later, another 5000? Before their eyes, they witnessed a manifestation of restoration in the physical lives of those being filled with the Holy Spirit - the Presence of God - and wanted some of that. Now, that's deliverance! (Romans 8:11  And if the Spirit of Him Who raised up Jesus from the dead dwells in you, [then] He Who raised up Christ Jesus from the dead will also restore to life your mortal (short-lived, perishable) bodies through His Spirit Who dwells in you)

Yeshua died to reclaim what was given away in the Garden. There has to be a claiming within us of what He has given us through that death. As we exhibit an EXPECTATION of His Goodness showing up when we call on His Name, when we BECOME His Name, manifesting His Name as He showed us how to those around us (1John 3:16 By this we come to know (progressively to recognize, to perceive, to understand) the [essential] love: that He laid down His [own] life for us; and we ought to lay [our] lives down [those who are our] brothers [in Him]), we will see the Life force of His Essence begin to move through us in the same manner as it did through Him (1 John 4:17 In this [union and communion with Him] love is brought to completion and attains perfection with us, that we may have confidence for the day of judgment [with assurance and boldness to face Him], because as He is, so are we in this world., John 17:6  I have manifested Your Name [I have revealed Your very Self, Your real Self] to the people whom You have given Me out of the world. They were Yours, and You gave them to Me, and they have obeyed and kept Your word.). Romans 8:19 tells us that the whole of creation is groaning and earnestly longing for the manifestation of the sons of God in the earth. To they who receive His Life by living His Life gave He power to BECOME those sons of God (John 1:12) - to become ONE with Him (John 17:20-21  Neither for these alone do I pray [it is not for their sake only that I make this request], but also for all those who will ever come to believe in (trust in, cling to, rely on) Me through their word and teaching, That they all may be one, [just] as You, Father, are in Me and I in You, that they also may be one in Us, so that the world may believe and be convinced that You have sent Me).

The Hebrew word for "one" is echad and means, "joy may be full".

"Now I am no longer in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to You. Holy Father, keep through Your name those whom You have given Me, that they may be one as We are one. While I was with them in the world, I kept them in Your name. Those whom You gave Me I have kept, and none of them is lost except the son of perdition, that the Scripture might be fulfilled. But now I come to You, and these things I speak in the world, that they may have My joy fulfilled in themselves" John 17:11-13.

An Analogy Of Our Walk

An Analogy Of Our Walk…

Having received and accepted the doctrines of men, it is a hard thing to break out of the box, to grow up in the spirit.  1Jn 3:2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.   HE IS SPIRIT!   People want to see with the mortal eyes, in the realm of the flesh (limited physically & in understanding)... and look for an outward manifestation that takes them out of their limitations, without any effort on their part.  While God has made the way to do this, it is completely contrary to all natural thinking.  His will is to bring us up higher, For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring” Acts 17:28.  LITERALLY, we are to LIVE, MOVE, AND HAVE OUR BEING, in the SPIRIT!  When our thinking is earthbound, we cannot see spiritual realities.  He said, "It is finished".... but religion rejects this fact... by keeping fulfillment 'future.'
“But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him” 1 Corinthians 2:9.

“And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil” John 3:19.

“That seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand; lest at any time they should be converted, and their sins should be forgiven them” Mark 4:12.  Unbelief blinds spiritual vision/eyesight.  Seeing is key.  Believing beyond what we see (faith) is critical.

I was trying to think of an analogy and got this...

…Imagine all you have ever known is darkness, living in a dark cave with only dimly luminescent rocks for light.  Then someone strikes a match, and the darkness is dispelled for the twenty feet or so that the light from the match illuminates, and you see the light.  In the light you now see more than you ever saw before.  You see a path and start following it.  You don't get far, because the match burns out, and you need more light.  Another match is struck and you see to proceed a little further.  You are so amazed at the brightness of the match light, and cannot imagine anything brighter than that.  Then along the way, you see a torch lying alongside the path, and put the match to it.  It lights and burns much brighter than the match did, allowing you to see your surrounding much more clearly.  You are amazed at the blazing light of the torch, and now proceed much more confidently down the now more visible path.  In the torch light you can better see and avoid some of the stones that tripped you up when you were walking by the light of the match.

You realize that the path is leading you upward, that you are gradually climbing.  You did not know that there was a higher place than where you had always been, but now you can see the incline.  Already, all that you had known is behind you, in the darkness.  You cannot imagine what lies ahead.  With each step new images/understanding of your surroundings come into view.  There are many others all around you who dwell in the darkness, calling it 'all there is.'  Some are drawn to your light, and marvel at its brightness.  Some may join you in your pathway, and travel for a time alongside you.  But after some distance, they begin to long for their familiar surroundings.  They don't like the exposure the light brings.  They leave your side and return to what they have always known, as they are comfortable there.  But you keep pressing on.  The path becomes steeper, the obstacles loom larger.  Everything along this path requires focus to traverse.  The light causes the rocks and boulders and cast long, dark shadows that look menacing and foreboding.  You wonder where this path is leading you .  You are alone and all the sounds of your old life are distantly removed, left far behind you.  You look at the light, and it is burning strong and bright, dispelling the threatening darkness.  That same darkness that had been all you knew, now holds no attraction for you.   You love this light, and never want it to go out.  So you keep pressing on.

Now the climb is steeper than ever.  In the distance ahead you see another kind of light.   It is not torchlight, and you have no idea of its source.  But you can see the way ahead is illuminated.  Now you have reached a place in the path where it requires both hands to ascend.  You must make a choice.  Will you lay down this flaming torch which has lighted your way this far, leaving it alongside the path?  Will you turn back and return to the darkness that you left behind?  You determine to press on and lay down the Torch.  Now all your focus and energy are required to climb the final distance, overcoming all the obstacles strewn in the way.  The frightening shadows are falling behind you, while the light ahead is increasing with every step you take.   There is a final huge boulder to climb up and over... suddenly your eyes see an opening, and through it is the brightest light you have ever seen.  You are drawn towards this opening, and as you step through it, there are no words to describe the LIMITLESS vistas spread before you.  The light of the SON warms and strengthens you from your journey.  You breathe deeply; the fresh air filling your lungs.  The sights, smells and sensations of this whole new world embrace you.  The colors, the sounds, and the joy you have found is beyond anything you had ever imagined, while living in the darkness.

You lose all sense of time, just taking in this incredible new world you have entered.  Forgotten is the pain and struggle of your journey.  You are greeted by others who also found the path and freedom from the darkness.  Together you feast on the abundance that is freely there for the taking.  You are HOME!...

“To give light to them that sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace” Luke 1:79.

“Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life” John 8:12.

“I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness” John 12:46.

“To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me” Acts 26:18.

“But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin” 1 John 1:7.

“For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: WALK AS CHILDREN OF LIGHT” Ephesians 5:8.

THE RETURN OF CHRIST - James Jarjou

THE RETURN OF CHRIST

I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you. Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also.

At that day ye shall know that I [am] in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you. He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him
.  John 14 v18-21.

"Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption. Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,

In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal [must] put on immortality"
(1 Corinthians 15v 51-53).

"Be not thou therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisoner: but be thou partaker of the afflictions of the gospel according to the power of God; Who hath saved us, and called [us] with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,

But is now made manifest by the APPEARING of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel:"
2 Timothy 1v8-10.

In a concern of giving a further clarity to what some of us mean when we speak about the return of Christ the following scriptures are quoted to help us see that the return of Christ is not a one way thing but a continual manifestation of HIS glory to HIS saints
from glory to glory unto the final climax and ultimate return which HE has reserved IN HIS own timing.

In the quotation from the scriptures from John 14 v18-21, the LORD made it cleared to HIS disciples that HE was going away in Body that HE might return to them in Spirit, so that they might also know true worship in spirit and Truth in a higher glory because God is spirit.

In my case for example as a citizen of a country dominated by Muslims It is the custom of some of them to asked me "where is Jesus" what I keep answering is " Jesus is in me, and HE is everywhere if you desire to know HIM HE will manifest Himself to you, go to your room, be sincere and ask HIM to reveal HIMSELF to you, HE died on the cross to free you from the power of sin by giving you HIS nature etc”. We are hearing stories about Christ manifesting HIMSELF to Muslims as the ever Living Savior here. You see the world around us needs to know Christ is always ready to appear and manifest HIMSELF in them, to teach them and make them disciples even as HE is making us. HE is living, and everywhere, they do not have to look hear or there but they must know Christ is so near the door of there heart waiting for there invitation.
It is HE that was dead, and now Lives for evermore, the Alpha and Omega, He that was, that is, and that is always to come in a higher manifestation of HIS return or manifestation. Our God is not dead, dumb, neither is HE static waiting for a certain day to deal with all evil, all this was accomplished on the cross.   HE is still appearing in men and ending the work of evil within their heart by saving them from the final day of the wrath to come and making them know the reality of :

"I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you. Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also"
even as told HIS disciples in HIS earthly days.

Children of God, does not a visitation of the LORD in us bring unspeakable joy even if it is in a vision?
How do we feel in such times, is it not as if we are already in paradise consume by infinite Love, and purity?

I will add here some expression of the appearing of Christ I wrote on an article title "Following the Glory” for more clarity. This is not a head doctrine, but visitation I personally experience in my work with the Lord.

HIS RESSURECTION OR APPERING IN GLORY

“For whosoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words, of him shall the SON OF MAN BE ASHAMED, WHEN HE SHALL COME IN HIS GLORY, AND HIS FATHER AND OF THE HOLY ANGELS”
(Luke 9v26).

From the preceding scripture above we can find HIS APPEARING or the Glory of His resurrection can be in three, we have:

1. HIS COMING IN HIS OWN GLORY

2. HIS COMING IN HIS FATHER

3. HIS COMING IN HIS HOLY ANGELS

1. HIS COMING IN HIS OWN GLORY

HIS coming in HIS own glory is the manifestation of HIS GLORY in a human bodily form, in revealing a measure of HIS GLORY TO HIS CHILDREN. HIS earthly day in Israel is an example of the Manifestation of HIS glory in bodily form. It is true that many saw his body, but the Glory was not revealed to them. When the LORD visits us through a bodily Form, if we are to partake in HIS GLORY, there must be an immediate inward revelation of a measure of HIS Glory, though we see HIM without our Body. Any glorified appearance of the LORD is always within our spirits; but HE does this to communicate to our senses using even our natural eyes, to see a symbolic of the HOLY HEVEANLY Glory. A True bodily visitation of the LORD, reveals HIS holy pure nature within us, and there is always a deep cry within our spirits to be conformed to HIS image; IN RIGHTEOUNESS AND HOLINESS. This visitation can either be in dreams, visions or a point where our natural eyes see this symbolic Visitation. This type of visitation has been a comfort to many Saints, after Going through a period of death, and burial of the Cross. The LORD uses this mighty visitation to strengthen and keep them moving. The LORD does not use this mechanism to speak to all of HIS Children, a reason only known to HIM.

2. HIS COMING IN HIS FATHER

In the Glory of this type of Heavenly Visitation, the LORD directly speaks to our spirit, without the aid of any instrument or bodily visitation. In this Kind of visitation HE reveals himself as the Creator, and the oneness of the Son and the Father become revealed into our spirits. Our spirit becomes so submissive to the HOLY SPIRIT that without any audible Voice, a spiritual understanding of the Kingdom becomes revealed to our spirits. In this type of visitation, Heavenly mysteries become revealed to our spirits, within a short period of time. This is accompanied with unspeakable joy of Glory. This manner of Visitation could also be audible but no image is seen.

3. HIS COMING IN HIS ANGELS

This is the point the LORD uses to speak to HIS children through Instruments. It could literally be Angels, Human vessels, Scriptures , books, nature etc. This is the Most widely form of communication the LORD uses to speak to HIS children. Yes, if it is HIM speaking into the spirit, there is always a manifestation of HIS Glory in it. This method of Divine Leading is not to be confused with the natural human wisdom, people gain from reading books written by saints, Scripture or listening to Preachers without a revelation in the spirit. There is always a glory in any new Truth which is revealed into our spirits, in any of the means above. Many Modern Evangelists have made the so called sinners prayer a doctrine, but my friend, if the Holy Spirit did not communicate to their spirits and reveal a measure of the Glory, they will ever remain strangers to the new covenant.

There is no True new covenant fellowship with believers, though we gather together in the body, if the Holy Spirit does not communicate in/from our spirits. Nothing can keep (be) True body fellowship, with the freedom of contribution of every member under the leadership of the Holy Spirit, but the presence of the Glory.

When I remember a few years ago, how the LORD directed us to different Christian fellowship. Every New connection under the direction of the LORD was always glorious. Oh how many times, have we felt a little measure of the Glory, in our new found fellowship group even with all the darkness and imperfection? The LORD never allows us to see the Darkness in the initial stage lest that becomes a stumbling block. Yes we were promoters of preachers; we were made to believe “The man of God” is to be treated with extreme honor and adoration. Out of a pure motive we accepted those abominable teachings, thinking we are pleasing the LORD. We saw both the poor and rich, give and give to these preachers and we taught it was a counsel from heaven, “that the man of God should be enriched”, while the poor and the widow remain obscure and forgotten, . Yet at the appointed time the Glory departed from us for a higher invitation. We hardly knew it was an invitation. The LORD first helps us see the darkness we never saw before.

Sometimes we receive bitterness and criticism when we rebuked the evil spirit of fashion, because the LORD helps us see it was wrong. Oh the pain of saying Farewell to all and follow the unknown.

I use this personal testimony to help us see the Basis of fellowship. New covenant fellowship is a divine communion of our father through other members in speaking to our spirits. When the purpose of this is accomplished, the temptation is always to idolize the Gifts He bestow on us while forgetting the Giver. A doctrine and an Idol is often made after every manifestation of HIS gifts. The result is the departure of the Glory, and if we do not follow… in denying ourselves and ceasing from our own works, every evil work will be manifested in the very gathering which was directed by the LORD. Spiritual wisdom will be given to us on how we are to keep the Glory and how to follow a higher measure in the unknown and unpredictable, if we do not drop our daily cross, in death and burial. " (end of quote).

Now having say all this, there is still a climax and a final return of Christ in establishing HIS kingdom both internal and externally against all that is not of HIM. The kingdom of Satan must have an end not only internally in HIS saints but also externally in the world without. Yet immortality is brought to light through the gospel of Christ today and this kingdom is not of the flesh , we must heed the trumpets , Gods voice to us daily if we are going to be change at the Last trump.

We are called to enter this kingdom of immortality today in our body, the end of self. We are called to be daily changed from one trumpet to another, HE will bring this change by separating us from the kingdom of this world which is dominated by the power and influence of flesh and blood into the kingdom of immortality which is directed by the Spirit of God.

It is true not all of the saints will sleep (natural death) but all are called to be Changed, by heading the daily trumpet of the Holy Spirit , on and on unto the last trump. The only people the scriptures affirmed that will not sleep are the people that follow the LORD unto the last trump. We must daily follow the LORD in HIS kingdom of immortality or will never hear the Last trumpet, this is a mystery, and there is no short cut outside HIS ways. Do not be deceived by any doctrine that you will partake in the ultimate blessing of Christ appearing without following HIM unto the Last trumpet. The last trumpet shows that, there are many trumpet before the last that we must heed.

Amen

The High Calling of God - B. Keith Chadwell

“The High Calling of God”

©B. Keith Chadwell

From: High Country Ministry Podcast, Episode 13 Saturday, May 21st, 2011
The Kingdom or Government of Heaven is at hand, now. Now... we are “new creations” in Christ and members together, growing up in Him, even unto the stature and measure of Christ. Members now, of God the Fathers family or household, even though it may not yet fully appear what we shall be. In the old culture or “old creation”, we see in Genesis, chapter 11:
And the whole earth was of one language, and of one speech.” We see; Man in the “old creation” came into unity, united in a common language and in purpose, bent on making a name for......”themselves” !!

Therefore, God's solution to this problematic behavior, for that time, is recorded in Genesis 11: verses 6-9

And the Lord said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do. Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one anothers speech. So the Lord scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all the earth: and they left off to build the city. Therefore is the name of it called Babel; because the Lord did there confound the language of all the earth: and from thence did the Lord scatter them abroad upon the face of all the earth.”

In summary; the latent power of the unregenerate soul of man in the earth under evil spiritual influence, is self centered and self serving and when united together with others of like minds and influence, nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do.

However, in the “new creation” in Christ Jesus, God turned over to His people “a PURE language”, a language not birthed of the soul, but birthed of the Spirit. This Pure language is for the express purpose of being able to call upon the Name of the Lord and to SERVE Him with ONE CONSENT.
Zephaniah 3:9“........For then will I turn to the people a pure language, that they may all call upon the name of the Lord, to serve him with one consent.”
To Serve”....speaks of coming under the government of the King in His Kingdom or dominion within us. “With ONE consent” speaks of unity of mind and purpose, in Christ Jesus by the Holy Spirit.
Now, in the “new creation”, the Spirit is poured out from on high, upon believers, and God now writes His laws on the hearts of His people. Not on stone tablets or in books. God's “new creations” are to speak with a new pure language, motivated not from the soul of the old creation, but from the washed and regenerated hearts of God's “new creation” believers. Those who are now of like Spirit with Jesus and God the Father. Those whom Jesus made the way possible to become partakers of God's divine nature by the work of the Holy Spirit within them. Those “new creations” in Christ from whose hearts are continually under divine influence; Then, united in spirit and purpose under ONE KING.
God said; of the old creation that because of their unity of purpose, nothing would be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do. This speaks of the power of the unregenerate soul under evil spiritual rule, when united together with others of like minds and spiritual influences,
How much more, now, for those who are “in Christ” and are a “New Creation” in Christ Jesus? “Old things have passed away, and all things are become New”

Is it such a wonder then, that Jesus would say to His “new creation” :
If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.”

Carefully note here in John 15:7, the word “IF” which makes Jesus statement totally conditional;
IF My words, abide in you.... If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.

His words must abide in us, not our old creation words. In the old creation, words spoken from the unregenerate Adamic Soul were destined to produce only death in the end.

Now we are called to come up higher.....To the High Calling of God, in Christ Jesus.
We are New Creations in Him.  His words are Spirit and life. His words, from our Heart, from a new nature or character, birthed of the divine, not of the flesh. It is from here the Pure language our new Spirit man, will produce Life.

As the scripture says in Pro 18:21
Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.“

Yes, we do reap what we sow. Words sown from the seat of our Adamic Soul or Words sown from the seat of our washed and regenerated hearts in Christ.

Today, we seek to enter into that place of manifest perfection in Christ, which we now may be able to see more clearly and which is promised, in Christ, for God's “new creation”. Yet, even those “in Christ” who are “new creations”, often cling to some of the ways and words of “the old Creation” Some might say that the metaphor or type of this might be; “remaining in or not coming out of Babel” or “Babylon”. This, I suppose, happens in part, when we continue to choose to use ideas and words generated from our Adamic soul and not our New Creation Spirit.
New creation believers still must choose the words of life. Even the choice the Lord speaks of in Psalms 81:
...“I am the LORD thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt:  open thy mouth wide, and …I will fill it. But my people would not hearken to my voice; and Israel would none of me. So I gave them up unto their own hearts' lust: and they walked in their own counsels. Oh that my people had hearkened unto me, and Israel had walked in my ways! I should SOON have subdued their enemies and turned my hand against their adversaries.”

From the book of Jude.
Jud 1:17-20 (Contemporary English Version) My dear friends, remember the warning you were given by the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ. They told you that near the end of time, selfish and godless people would start making fun of God. And now these people are already making you turn against each other. They think only about this life, and they don't have God's Spirit. Dear friends, keep building on the foundation of your most holy faith, as the Holy Spirit helps you to pray.

The pure language of the Spirit that Zephaniah spoke of; is generated from the cleansed heart of believers who speak not the words out of the soul of our old Adamic creation, but rather, speak words of life from the “new creation” heart or Spirit of a true member of the household of God.

When believers come to full maturity in Christ and He is fully manifest in us or is fully apparent in us we will be like Him. Always, speaking the words, from the heart that Jesus would speak to accomplish only the will and purposes of the Father.......
...In the meanwhile; the Holy Spirit is available to help us, always, speak in accordance with the will of God and circumvent our partial knowledge, weaknesses or infirmities, if you will, of the flesh; until that day that Christ is fully manifest in us. So, we need not wait for manifest perfection, for even now, if we will permit Him, the Spirit will make intercession, using our lips, in accordance with the will of God, when we know not what to pray.
For after all, now we are new creations in Christ and members together growing up , even unto the stature and measure of Christ. Members now, of God the Fathers family or household, even though it may not yet appear what we shall be.
Joh 14:20 At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.

This is the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
